Niamh Donnelly

Niamh is a co-founder and Chief Robotics Officer at Akara Robotics, a healthcare robotics company building groundbreaking technology to enhance infection control and patient safety in hospitals. Niamh holds a Master’s degree in AI and Machine Learning from UCD and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from DCU. She has won national awards for her AI research, has been recognized globally as one of “50 women in robotics you need to know about” by Robohub, and was recently awarded the prestigious EU Women Innovators Prize by the European Commission.
