Süleyman is a researcher and an entrepreneur specialising in applications of AI and Robotics to healthcare. He focuses on inventing digital tools to make healthcare processes faster, safer, and profitable. He heads Labenko, a vibrant innovative start-up empowering hospitals with solutions to transform their processes into robotically precise, AI-supported, patient-friendly, high-value assets. Suleyman served on the top management team of the university hospital (with 1250 beds) at Dokuz Eylul University for 9 years, where he was appointed as a professor in the Computer Engineering Department. He also worked at the University of Sydney as a lecturer and a senior lecturer after completing his PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona in 1988. Suleyman has published widely, successfully conducted many publicly funded research projects, and holds 4 patents.

He is also the designer of the MHRS system, a national system for the management of hospital appointments, which has been in use in Türkiye for nearly 20 years.
