Eimear leads the Dublin hub of Health Innovation Hub Ireland (HIHI), a government funded national programme operating in partnership with the HSE and Enterprise Ireland to accelerate health innovation across Ireland. Since 2018, she has guided hundreds of companies and clinical teams through the full innovation pipeline – from needs identification and real world testing to procurement ready adoption – supporting a national programme that has facilitated over 9,200 clinical engagements and helped Irish health innovators raise €234m in funding.
A member of HIHI’s national senior leadership team, Eimear works at the intersection of innovation, procurement and health system change, partnering with clinicians, policymakers and industry to scale solutions that work. She is the author of Buying All-island in Healthcare – North and South, a cross-border report identifying procurement barriers facing health tech start-ups and SMEs across Ireland and Northern Ireland and setting out recommendations to address them.
