Denise is an experienced healthcare transformation leader with more than 20 years’ experience across emergency care, patient flow, integrated healthcare and digital health innovation. Denise has led major system-wide improvement programmes focused on improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency and healthcare integration.
She has successfully delivered award-winning initiatives including the Sláintecare STOP@HOME remote monitoring programme and the Visual Hospital model, which significantly reduced emergency department overcrowding and improved patient experience. Denise is a member of the HSE Patient Flow Academy, contributing to best-practice development, education and cross-site collaboration in patient flow and operational reform. She holds master’s degrees in Leadership in Healthcare and Emergency Nursing and is passionate about creating sustainable, patient-centred healthcare systems.
