Cristina is a medical doctor with a master’s degree in Political Strategy and Communication. She has more than 20 years of experience in public health and health policy and worked in public administration (i.e. Ministry of Health), for French and US based consultants implementing EU and USAID funded programmes and for more than 10 years in a Brussels based organisation addressing health and social inequities.
For more than 10 years Cristina monitored and analysed EU policies and coordinated multi-national European research projects. She also has experience and knowledge in monitoring and evaluation techniques while ensuring processes for evidence-based decision making, strategic learning and programme development.
In her current role as Head of Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations at EIT Health and, as coordinator of the EIT Health Think Tank function, Cristina has been closely involved in the data gathering from 10 EU countries and finalisation of the EIT Health report ‘Implementing the European Health Data Space across Europe’.
