Martin McCormack is also Chair of the Strategy Implementation Executive of the Forum of Irish Postgraduate Medical Training Bodies. He also serves on the HSE Board Strategy and Reform Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee of the Royal Irish Academy.
With a professional background spanning corporate governance, digital transformation, and health system reform, Martin has advised the Department of Health, the HSE, the Medical Council, patient advocacy organisations, and government ministries internationally. His leadership emphasises patient safety, strategic workforce planning, and the role of data-driven innovation in healthcare.
A Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland, and the Irish Computer Society, Martin is also Adjunct Professor at Trinity College Dublin. He is completing doctoral research on strategic renewal in multistakeholder health systems and is part of a multi-sector collaboration to build a national learning analytics capability for healthcare professionals in Ireland.
